If you have ever been to our Quiz Nights here on Wednesdays, you will be familiar with our Comedic host Matt Blair. Matt will be taking us to hysterical heights, as he hosts our brand new Comedy Club!
Joining us for our opening night on Saturday 24th September 2022 from 8pm...
Opening Act: Matt Hoss
Matt is a touring Stand-up comedian, podcaster and broadcaster. He started Stand-up comedy when he was 19 years old in a vegetarian restaurant. He accidentally swore profusely to a small boy to close his first 5 minutes. The rest of his career is summed up with that metaphor.
Headliner: Meryl O'Rourke
Acclaimed stand-up comic and accomplished TV writer Meryl O'Rourke, revels in her bitterness. A potty mouthed potty trainer, she has delighted comedy audiences, written some of the best gags on telly and even hosted pop concerts (the last one to 12,000 people!). She supported Frankie Boyle for part of his last tour, at his request. She also supported him at the Hammersmith Apollo. In his book "Work! Consume! Die! he calls Meryl "inspiringly funny". Meryl's cheeky routines of dysfunctionality get her choice gigs with major promoters. These include Up The Creek, Screaming Blue Murder, Off the Kerb, Banana, Comedy Company and The Funny Side; amongst others. Her solo stand-up show Bad Mother... was a hit at Edinburgh and Brighton festivals. Directed by Foster's Comedy Award nominee Thom Tuck, it received 5-star reviews and was The Times' Critics Choice.

The Old Pack Horse
A historic Chiswick pub, the story of The Old Pack Horse dates back as far as 1747. The establishment at that time featured an assembly room, which played host to evening balls and other entertainment.
Later, in 1808, there is mention of The Old Pack Horse being part of the Brewery pubs - but the original title for Fuller’s appears to be 16th March 1849. The famous brewer has owned the deeds ever since.
After more than 200 years serving the community, it's no surprise we've had a few famous guests in that time - poet and writer Horace Walpole used to bait his horses here on his way to Twickenham, while comedian Tommy Cooper was a regular here for many years too.
Many moons ago, the bar was also frequented by Irish navvies who would meet here and doll out pay to their teams in big rolls of cash. That’s how our bookable bar area became known as ‘Millionaire’s Bar’.

7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
