Waterfalls, Living Walls & Fire Pits: Meet London's Hottest New Food Hall

LALALAND Shoreditch

Step off Great Eastern Street and into this leafy food and drink oasis.

From the ashes of the once-beloved Dinerama, comes a new eating and drinking emporium that looks set to cause quite a stir. LaLaLand is opening up shop in the Shoreditch truck yard this March, playing host to eleven street food vendors, four bars, music and lounges across multiple levels.

While the entire menu isn't confirmed, some of the first announcements are in... and it's a pretty mouthwatering bunch. From chowing down on RockIT's Indian burgers and GuaBao's bun offerings, to getting your chops around rotisserie chicken from Hot Chixx, you're sure to keep coming back for more thanks to this lineup.

However, it's the site's revamp that has really caught our attention. Following a multi-million pound facelift, the venue has been transformed into a verdant courtyard filled with living walls, a gorgeous garden area and actual waterfalls. What's more, there's also been talk of fire pits and a plunge pool that'll put this beauty heads and shoulders above its London food hall cohort.

LaLaLand is open from spring 2022, located at 19 Great Eastern Street, Shoreditch, EC2A 3EJ. Discover other unmissable places to eat in Shoreditch here. For more news, sign up to our London newsletter.
