We're not gonna be shellfish with this one, so here are the best London restaurants that serve oysters for under £3.

Branded as 'seafood connoisseurs', it would be hard to find a better spot to indulge in all your fishy faves. Wright Brothers in South Kensington is sleek, sophisticated and serves up £1 oysters between 4pm and 6pm Monday to Friday and Sundays (in the restaurant) or between 6pm and 7pm, Thursday to Saturday, in the secret mermaid cocktail bar.

Seabird
Bringing the glam all the way from NYC to London is Seabird. This dazzling rooftop restaurant situated on the 14th floor of The Hoxton not only boasts insane views, but is also home to the largest oyster list in the city. Better yet, you can snack on your fave shellfish for just £2 during their happy hour which runs from Monday to Friday between 3pm and 6pm. You can also snatch up delicious martinis for £7 each.

Smith's Bar & Grill
Located in Paddington, Smith's Bar & Grill is a modern British restaurant that flaunts stylish wooden furnishings and pretty plants hanging from the ceiling. Head here between 6 and 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays for a bargain - as they're serving freshly shucked oysters at the bar for only £1 each. Enjoy them with a squeeze of lemon or a splash of hot sauce, and you can even nab two-for-one cocktails at the same time.

Escocesa
With a name that means 'Scottish' in Spanish, its no surprise that you'll find a wealth of produce from the country at seafood-loving tapas restaurant Escocesa. This Stoke Newington Church Street eatery is the little sister of Bar Esteban, with executive chef Pablo Rodriguez (formerly of Michelin star restaurant Jean Luc Figueras in Catalunya alongside London's Barrafina and Moro) at the helm too. Their Cumbrae oysters are served with mojo verde, costing £4 each usually but only half that during happy hours. Think £2 oysters before 7pm on weekdays and all day Sunday.

Situated in the heart of Soho is Manzis, a glamorous seafood restaurant that's one for the bucket list. With everything from the catch of the day, to lobster thermidor (and everything else in between) this place has something for everyone. Their oyster hour has to be the main event though, where you can buy them from £2 each or six for £9 every weekday between 5.30pm and 6.30pm.

Well And Bucket
You'll find a cracking oyster happy hour at Well And Bucket, accompanied by a shabby-chic interior and artfully altered portraits in the midst of Bethnal Green. East London’s seafood lovers have a new excuse to head to Galvin Bistrot & Bar this summer. The Spitalfields favourite is launching a wallet-friendly oyster happy hour, serving freshly shucked oysters for just £1 each alongside £5 mini martinis every Friday and Saturday.
Running from 2.30pm to 7pm, the offer pairs briny oysters dressed simply with lemon and shallots, while those after something a little more decadent can upgrade with ponzu dressing or even caviar.
