What Is CelebrASIA?

Following a successful debut in 2024, CelebrASIA is back and bigger than ever. The three-day event celebrates Southeast Asian community, culture and food in the form of incredible pop-ups, artisan markets, live music and so much more.

What's On At CelebrASIA?

There will be 29 top chefs on hand to guide you through a delicious culinary experience. Some of the best names in the business will be showcasing their treats, including:

  • Chick 'n' Sours
  • Eat Lah
  • Kasa & Kin
  • Old Change Lee
  • Nha Trang Khanom Krok
  • Tarsier X El Pinoy 
  • Superlicious

You can even book a seat in their feasting tent for an exclusive four-course open-fire dining experience by the riverside. The chefs taking over the feasting tent include:

  • Friday: Budgie Montoya - creator of modern Filipino sensation, Sarap
  • Saturday: Abby Lee - founder of one of the best Mayasian restaurants in the capital, Mambow
  • Sunday: John & Desiree Chantarasak - owners of the one Michelin star restaurant, AngloThai

As well as filling your belly to the brim, you might also want to head to some of the amazing talks and author events they have lined up. This includes:

  • Lantern making 
  • Batik art
  • Pewter dish personalisation sessions
  • Shadow puppet creation

An artisan market with more than 30 independent Southeast Asian vendors will be bustling in the Turbine Halls. Visitors will have a chance to browse and buy sauces, homewares, jewellery and fashion pieces from the region.

There will also be a whole host of live performances to enjoy. Here's a quick rundown:

  • Surprise pop-ups over the course of the weekend
  • Breaking masterclass B-Boy Sunni - the first breaker to represent Team GB in the Paris 2024 Olympics
  • A variety of cultural showcases
  • Music and dance performances in Power Station Park

And if you're after family-friendly things to do, then check out the CelebrASIA Grand Tour - a creative trail winding around the Power Station that uncovers facts about Southeast Asia. Kids will even get their own CelebrASIA passport to collect explorer stickers along the way.

Is It Free To Attend CelebrASIA?

It is free to attend CelbrASIA, however you will need to purchase tickets for individual events such as the feast tent and the talks.
