What's that you hear? Must be the sound of bottles popping at The Backroom. A staple on the city's clubbing scene, this bustling venue is a firm student favourite... whether you're splashing that student loan or keeping things cheap and cheerful.

Fibre

The price tag and the fanciness of Fibre might not put it in the same calibre as other student clubs in Leeds, but hear us out. If you pay a little extra, you get four floors of partying, with plush drinking dens and neon-lit dancefloors under one roof. Not to mention the notorious courtyard parties.

The Key Club

The Key Club is the rock night club you've been dreaming of. Not only do they host a variety of live gigs, but their three weekly student club nights in Leeds are dedicated to punk pop, alternative, rock anthems and guilty pleasures – meaning those with a less mainstream taste have exactly what they want.

Student clubs in Leeds rarely get any better than Mission. Not only do they have amazing DJs from tonnes of genres in each of their rooms, they'll have hot new bands, fire-eaters, acrobats and they've even had a travelling sex circus. Add in cheap drinks and your night is sorted.

The Warehouse is one of the oldest clubs in the city and that's led them to have a commitment to one thing: great music. After a recent refurb, they boast Funktion One Dance Stacks towers, CO2 jets, laser lights and lighting rigs to create the best show possible for amazing DJs to take advantage of. The best bit? They are pretty much the haven for Underground tunes in Leeds.

The Wardrobe

House isn't for everyone, which is why it's great that places like the Wardrobe exist. Not only is it a student-friendly club in prices and attitude, but they also play host to live music and alternative club nights, ranging from punk and rock to their Brighton Beach night, which plays the best in mod, ska, Britpop, indie and soul.
