Taking place on the 14th, Maggie's Cowboy Ceilidh is a fun evening out that's bound to bring you and your partner closer together. The Merchant City venue will be hosting a live band, who'll play non-stop ceilidh tunes as you dance the night away. But don't worry if you've never done it before, as there's a line dancing lesson to begin the evening.

Tickets start from just £16.50 per person, including entry, lessons and a free rodeo bull ride for everyone. The Nashville-themed bar will also be slinging out cracking drinks and a variety of US-style eats throughout.

They specialise in seafood, with a menu that features everything from sea bass and king scallop sashimi to grilled lemon sole or half Scottish lobster - and don't forget the frozen chocolate cake for dessert.

Cail Bruich

An award-winning fine dining restaurant on Great Western Road, Cail Bruich is a stylish, modern eatery that showcases the very best of Scottish produce. You'll find exposed brick walls, pale blue leather seats and pretty plants in the dining space, where you can enjoy five or seven-course tasting menus from £125 per person.

Led by head chef Lorna McNee, the talented kitchen team are cooking up regularly changing seasonal menus, with sample dishes including scrabster turbot with a XO bisque, crapaudine beetroot and more. You can also add on wine pairings, starting at £85 per head.
