What they say:
The people behind Vodka Wodka have opened a new informal fried chicken shop above the original bar. Dixie Chick is selling all sorts of American-style goodness, from wings and halloumi strips, through to loaded fries which can come with the likes of chorizo, cheddar and bacon bits. Open from 12pm every day, the kitchen will also serve customers of downstairs Vodka Wodka.
What we say:
With plenty of kitsch bars and quirky restaurants, Ashton Lane is already one of our favourite places to hangout. It looks set to get even better as Dixie Chick opens above Vodka Wodka. Along with loaded fries and wings, the spot also has an epic chicken burger range; think toppings such as blue murder cheese, crispy bacon and beetroot slaw, along with veggie options. It also has a some serious design credentials, with interiors designed by the same people who pimped up Bread Meats Bread.
