Rafa's are adding a little spice to Finnieston's food scene with the opening of their Mexican eatery, inspired by Arizona's take on the cuisine. 

Located along Hidden Street, the nine-cover restaurant has a few vibrant decorations to add a pop of colour to your day. Tables are adorned with tequila bottle candle holders and bold flower pots whilst the walls feature colourful frames, as well as a window into the kitchen so you can watch your meal being made.

Rafa's has an eclectic menu of popular Central American classics. Dishes range from skirt steak tacos and confit pork butt with cola-glazed carrots to deep-fried seaweed-brined tofu and cheese quesadillas. They also have a number of vegan replacements available and give you the option to add extra guacamole, cheese and coleslaw to your order. As for drinks, the snug spot are currently working on getting a drinks license, but in the meantime they're running a BYOB system. Fancy pairing your grilled cod burrito with a bottle of bubbly? Why not. Some nachos with a tinnie or two? Have at it.
