What they say:

The acquisition of The Hope, formerly known as The Grahamston, marks Maclay's first venture in the heart of Glasgow City Centre. A £400,000 refurbishment of the venue over the summer has given the bar a fresh look that will appeal to Central Station commuters and workers in surrounding offices. The re-launch has seen the venue focus on offering fresh, contemporary food and a selection of great beers and wines as well as fresh coffee available every morning.

What we say:

The Hope in Central Glasgow is which has reopened its doors on Waterloo Street on 3rd September, with a new look and new name following a mah-hoo-sive revamp. Now owned by Maclay Inns, the group behind such great Glasgow bars as Munro's and Dram, the bar is set to have the same focus on brews and bites as its siblings. However, this new Glasgow bar is set to have a chic city spin on its West End predecessors, catering for the hoards of professionals and commuters in Central Glasgow.
