Tantra knows that Scots love their curries. Not only are the team here bringing well-loved flavours to their new restaurant in the heart of Edinburgh; but also a modern take on South Asian cooking. Think traditional Indian dishes inspired by Mughal royalty and cultures all across the globe.

The interior oozes luxury, with a fabulous bar and restaurant area adorned with bold art and wallpaper. This opulence is also reflected in elevated plates like the black gold gosht, a signature lamb shank encrusted with 24 carat gold and manda bread. If that's not fancy enough for you, enjoy their emperor's daal shorba - also known as the 'soup of the royals' which is their signature chickpea soup. If you've got a sweet tooth, try their elegant tandai mousse embellished with gold leaf and crusted rose petals.
