Hidden away behind an unassuming door, with the only marker being a white bell and two mysterious playing cards, is a brand-new secret bar in Edinburgh’s South Bridge, Lucky 13.

Ring the buzzer and you’ll be led down the stairs to a cosy, underground speakeasy. Not only does the intimate space boast red-hued walls adorned with curious artwork (we're talking animals dressed up in old fashioned garms), but also vintage jazz oozing from the speakers and flickering candles at each table. Get ready for a lineup of expertly crafted cocktails, from pornstar martinis to amaretto sours with a twist. But, if nothing tickles your fancy, you can also just tell the bar staff what flavours and spirits you like, and they'll create a tipple to suit your tastes. Feeling lucky?
