Fancy a bit of fine dining? Dublin city centre has a swish new restaurant, complete with quirky frames, exposed brick walls, and fabulous fare. Housed in a gorgeous Georgian building, Wildflower has three rooms to check out. The Good Room fronts antique armchairs to settle into, while The Dining Room boasts pretty paintings and plush velvet bucket chairs. But the real star is its candlit cellar which has 12 spaces for a cracking 10-course tasting menu, complete with petit fours and vino.

And when it comes to the venue's Irish and Nordic cuisine, there's a real focus on sustainability, simple ingredients and a zero-waste policy. Cavan-born chef Adrian Martin also uses his experience in the countryside to create seasonally-changing menus, with each dish representing a childhood memory of his. Talk about adding a personal touch.

You can expect snacks a bit more tantalising than your average bag of crisps. Their Ballymakenny potato topped with Achill Island sea salt will be sure to please your tastebuds, while the fermented stout bread is an equally filling starter. For mains, chow down on Thornhill duck and onion miso or aged fillet of beef with bone marrow. Another knockout dish? The artichoke ice cream with a burnt sage granita is an innovative delight.
