One of the best rooftop terraces in Dublin can be found at the oh-so special NoLita. Offering live music, bites to eat and handcrafted cocktails, it's so much more than just a pretty face. Stop by to top up your tan in the pretty outdoor space when temperatures start to rise.

Think that Guinness is the signature pour in Ireland? Well this is the mothership, and it's located right in the heart of Dublin. Indulge your inner tourist and head her to create your own signature brew topped with an image of your face and get sky-high views of the city below at The Gravity Bar.

If you want panoramic views of the city while sheltering from the rain, Sophie's is a firm choice. A glamorous spot for a date night, birthday or slap-up dinner, the bar and restaurant has a gorgeous outdoor nook for when you need some fresh air and the sun's back out.

Dublin has no shortage of bars with outdoor spaces, and Opium really is one of the special ones. With a Pan-Asian theme throughout, this place will have you kicking the evening off with dinner, before heading to the rooftop for a cocktail and some Insta snapping of the floral decor.

Bad Bobs

A five-floor venue with a vibrant feel, Bad Bobs is a one-stop shop for drinking, eating and partying in Dublin. Venture to the top floor of the Victorian townhouse and you'll find a plush VIP area and a large terrace to chill out on 'til the early hours.

Fitzsimons sees your rooftop bar and brings you a rooftop beer garden. When the summer sun starts to break through, and temperatures begin to rise a little, there's very few places as desirable as this sun trap, with spacious seating, a dedicated bar and heaters for when it gets chilly again.

Did you know that The Workmans Club is home to one of Dublin's best rooftop bars? Complete with its own burger joint and cocktail bar, this quirky (and colourful) suntrap is made for sinking in the hours while topping up your tan this summer.
