Sorry, the places listed below don't have online bookings available, but we hope you still find this list useful for your night out!

Pink Restaurant

Searching for a quirky afternoon tea in Dublin? It doesn't get much more alternative than dining at a restaurant with a Barbie-esque colour theme. From head to toe you'll find this spot covered in baby pinks, shades of rose and so much more, complete with gold accents - all in all, we think this makes for a highly Instagrammable feast.

As for the afternoon tea? Pink offers a wide selection of fresh sweet pastries like salted caramel and chocolate mousse with pink meringue, or red velvet cake with cream cheese glitter frosting, arancini balls and sandwiches filled with roast chicken and aioli. Tip back a steaming pot of tea and peach-coloured bubbles alongside your gorgeous assortment from €45 per person.

The Westbury

For a five-star experience, head to The Westbury Hotel in Dublin for its distinguished afternoon tea (€75 per person) within The Gallery, a refined space overlooking Grafton Street. Served daily from 12pm to 5pm, guests can enjoy a selection of finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with tea-infused jam and clotted cream, and an array of sweet pastries.

The menu features teas from around the world, served in delicate silver teapots. For an added touch of luxury, a glass of Charles Heidsieck Rosé Réserve NV from the Champagne trolley is available. The hotel also offers the Lady Gregory Afternoon Tea, honouring the co-founder of The Abbey Theatre. This special menu includes desserts inspired by plays that have graced the Abbey Theatre's stage over the past 120 years.

Anantara The Maker Hotel

This one is for the book lovers out there as Anantara The Maker Hotel's afternoon tea is inspired by Ireland's literary history. Head to the waterside spot, boasting a stunning rooftop with panoramic views, to indulge your senses in its Poetry And Places offering.

Highlights include The Maker Battenburg, nodding to the hotel's geometrical structure and featuring white chocolate and vanilla caramel, and an ode to The Guinness Storehouse: a chocolate and Guinness cake moulded to look exactly like a pint of the good stuff.

Atrium Lounge

With luxe interiors and plush seating, it comes as no surprise that the Atrium Lounge's afternoon tea in Dublin city centre is up there as one of the best. It offers a soothing escape from the bustle of the streets and a warm space, ideal for toasting a glass of bubbles with loved ones and devouring fresh scones.

Enjoy mini sandwiches galore (think fillings of thyme-roasted chicken, soft poached egg salad or smoked salmon), alongside caramelised white chocolate and coconut cheesecakes, lemon meringue tarts and a signature loose tea selection to wash it all down.
