Sri Lankan restaurant The Coconut Tree is promising to bring Cardiff an explosion of flavour, with its menu of fresh meat, fish and fiery cocktails alongside varied vegan and vegetarian dishes.

Having built up a cult following in Bristol, Cheltenham and Oxford, The Coconut Tree is sharing its traditional cuisine with the Welsh capital. Creating dishes rich in Ceylon spices and utilising family recipes, the restaurant is offering signature hopper, kotthu and deviled delights along with a tapas style-menu that’s perfect for feasting. They will also be pouring out signature Cocotails, hand-crafted and mixed to perfection with coconut flower nectar, served in handmade ceramic bowls that are large enough to share between the table.

Housed in street-style interiors of wicker chairs and colourful painted walls, The Coconut Tree brings Sri Lankan eating to life through its quirky decor. Guests can expect to be immersed in a welcoming environment, paired with a feel-good soundtrack and a vibrant dining experience, all for a reasonable price.
