Trust us, there's nothing better than wandering around a field with a tasty cocktail in one hand and a fistful of halloumi fries in the other. Home to some of the finest produce in Europe, it's no surprise that the country's food and drink scene is popping off. From urban BBQ fiestas to weekend-long foodie meccas with all the trimmings, we've rounded up the best UK food and drink festivals so you can get your munch on.

London, Derby, Bristol, Birmingham, Sheffield, Manchester: Wing Fest 2026

The ultimate foodie event is back for 2025: Wing Fest. Chicken lovers can try over 90 different types of wing across the three-day event, judging which one is the best. Their festivals can be found across the UK, taking over venues with live entertainment and great food.

As well as great beer, bourbon and chicken, you can enjoy everything from live music and DJ sets to axe throwing or eating competitions. Tickets start from just £25 per person, with a trucker hat included for every guest.

London: TEQUILA AND MEZCAL SHOW 2026

@ Glaziers Hall on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd May 2027

The Glaziers Hall is coming alive with The Tequila and Mezcal Show. Roll on up to taste your way through over 250 of the boldest spirits on the market.

Expect bright, grassy flavours and intense smoky hues along the way. Tickets start from just £41 and include a free Perfect Measure tasting glass.

Lancashire: Ormskirk Food & Drink Market

On the site of the town's original indoor market, Ormskirk Food & Drink Market combines local tradition with a modern place to meet, eat and play. With six traders serving up pizza, noodles, burgers and all kinds of street food, there's something here for every kind of tastebud.

The event's calendar is just as pleasingly packed. Get down here for family fun days, doggy meetups, festive crafting, brunch clubs and plenty more besides.

Scotland: Food and Drink Festival at Papple showcasing East Lothian

@ Papple Steading on Sun, 20th Sep 2026 @ multiple start times (see ticket info)

A rural location so beautiful that anyone who enters feels honoured to be there, Papple Steading is a farmhouse-style hideaway complete with luxury accommodation, cute cafe, wine bar and bakery selling local goods.

But on 20th - 21st September, it's making way for an almighty festival that's free to enter and celebrates the best of East Lothian food, drink and tourism. Expect market stands hosting tastings and demos, alongside four ticketed experiences including a cheese and wine pairing session, sourdough masterclass, whisky tasting and botanical tea blending.
