Lane7 has completely turned miniature golf on its head with its next-level, fast-paced golf simulators. Instead of walking a traditional course, you book a dedicated lane or pod for up to eight players, where everything is driven by a sleek touchscreen system.

If you really want to make a session of it, skip the single round and book their unlimited golf and two cocktails package starting from £20.

Junkyard Golf Club features three distinct, brain-melting nine-hole courses built from entirely weird junk and reclaimed bits and pieces - you'll navigate your way through the bizarre challenges of BOZO, PABLO, and GARY.

While they do offer great-value family ticket packages for daytime fun, the venue truly comes alive later in the day when the bars get busy. • Why we recommend: located right off the M60 next to the Trafford Centre, it's impossibly easy to get to, features free on-site parking, and stays open incredibly late. My absolute favourite tip: if you finish your first 18 holes and aren't ready to go home, you can play the second course for half price on the same day

Dino Falls Adventure Golf offers an action-packed Jurassic setting featuring two distinct 18-hole courses: The Rapids Course and The Volcano Course. It is a fantastic destination for mates, dates, and families alike, boasting prehistoric caves, winding fossil paths, cascading waterfalls, and palm trees to navigate.
