Let’s be honest: golf is good, but it’s significantly better when you're hitting a neon ball through a smashed-up 90s estate car while sipping a cocktail. Manchester's crazy golf scene is super quirky, and arguably one of the best in the UK.

Whether you’re trying to impress a date, looking to let loose with your mates over local street food, or planning a weekend tournament, there is a fairway with your name on it. Grab your putter and leave your serious side at the door. Discover is our definitive guide to where to play crazy golf in Manchester right now.

Where To Find Crazy Golf In Manchester

The Cube - Urban Playground Manchester

  • Location: Manchester Arndale, Market Street, M4 3AB
  • Price: from £10 per person for nine holes
  • Best for: tech-infused mini golf, game show fans, competitive groups, team building, foodies
  • Why we recommend: I love the state-of-the-art digital tracking, meaning you can focus entirely on your swing while the tech handles the rest. Plus, because it's completely indoors right in the heart of the Arndale, it's the perfect escape from the Manchester drizzle

Urban Playground is a premium entertainment hub that, while it's famously home to THE CUBE Live, where you can step inside the iconic glass box from the TV show, the real star for mini-golf lovers is Putters. Groups of up to six can tee off across three distinct, brilliantly themed nine-hole courses: Fairground, Circus, and Virtual Escape.

As you play, live on-screen animations, audio elements, and electronic leaderboards track your shots in real time, letting you see how you stack up against the day's top players. There are even built-in in-game prizes and bonus holes to keep things interesting. Once you've crowned your putting champion, you can celebrate (or commiserate) with gourmet Aberdeen Angus burgers from the award-winning The Butcher.

Treetop Golf Manchester

Celebrate from the First Sip – Prosecco welcome reception, only £5 per person

  • Location: The Printworks, 7 Dantzic Street, M4 2BS
  • Price: from £12.70 per person for one course (£19.70 for two)
  • Best for: indoor mini golf, date night, groups, school trips
  • Why we recommend: for an all-rounder, Treetop Golf Manchester is a must-book. I really love how immersive their courses are, and how it's perfect come rain or shine in the city. If there are up to 20 of you, nab the Sip & Swing package for £19 per person - it's a steal

Treetop Golf Manchester is a fantastic indoor haven suitable for all ages who are looking to have a go at putting around some seriously fun and creative courses. They offer great packages suitable for large groups (great for party planning) and children, so you can consider your holiday plans sorted.

Together, you'll venture into rainforest-inspired courses, spanning the Tropical Trail to the Ancient Explorer, and all tours include the chance to win a free round of adventure golf (the bonus 19th hole). There's even a free photobooth for you to take pictures in afterwards. And as for food and drink? Fuel up with slices from Pizza Cabana, and wash it all down with drinks from The Thirsty Toucan Bar.

Lane7 Manchester Deansgate

  • Location: 235 Deansgate, M3 4EN
  • Price: Big Putts Golf from £10 per person
  • Best for: tech-savvy players, group socials, multi-activity nights, double dates, friendly competition
  • Why we recommend: by treating mini golf like a bowling lane, you and your mates can stick together in one private pod. Located inside the Great Northern Warehouse right on Deansgate, it's fully indoors, features a fantastic industrial-cool aesthetic, and makes for an incredible rainy-day escape or anchor for a massive night out

Lane7 has completely turned miniature golf on its head with its next-level, fast-paced golf simulators. Instead of walking a traditional course, you book a dedicated lane or pod for up to eight players, where everything is driven by a sleek touchscreen system.

A giant screen above your lane brings the game to life with epic visuals, automatic scoring, and interactive challenges - it will even pop your face up on the big screen mid-game if you're lucky. It's an immersive game of pure skill, encouraging you to use the sides of the simulator to masterfully bounce your shots into the edge holes.

Junkyard Golf Club

  • Location: 2 First Street, Manchester City Centre, M15 4RP
  • Price: nine holes from £9.50 Sun-Thurs
  • Best for: adult nights out, date nights, cocktail lovers, birthdays, hen and stag dos
  • Why we recommend: Junkyard Golf Club is basically a massive house party disguised as a mini-golf course, and I think it's the ultimate icebreaker for a date night or a big night out with mates. If you really want to make a session of it, skip the single round and book their unlimited golf and two cocktails package starting from £20.

Junkyard Golf Club features three distinct, brain-melting nine-hole courses built from entirely weird junk and reclaimed bits and pieces - you'll navigate your way through the bizarre challenges of BOZO, PABLO, and GARY.

Expect banging playlists pumping through the speakers, UV lights, and plenty of brilliant bad puns along the way. While they do offer great-value family ticket packages for daytime fun, the venue truly comes alive later in the day when the bars get busy. You can fuel your competitive streak with epic custom cocktails, a great selection of drinks, and a solid menu of pizzas and bar snacks to keep you putting all night.

Dino Falls Adventure Golf

  • Location: Trafford Golf Centre, Old Park Lane, TraffordCity, M17 8PG
  • Price: from £10 per adult, £8 per under 16s and seniors, and £32 for a family ticket (four)
  • Best for: dinosaur lovers, big family days out, outdoor mini golf, groups
  • Why we recommend: located right off the M60 next to the Trafford Centre, it's impossibly easy to get to, features free on-site parking, and stays open incredibly late. My absolute favourite tip: if you finish your first 18 holes and aren't ready to go home, you can play the second course for half price on the same day

Dino Falls Adventure Golf offers an action-packed Jurassic setting featuring two distinct 18-hole courses: The Rapids Course and The Volcano Course. It is a fantastic destination for mates, dates, and families alike, boasting prehistoric caves, winding fossil paths, cascading waterfalls, and palm trees to navigate.

Along the way, you'll face engaging obstacles under the watchful eyes of gigantic, realistic moving dinosaurs - including a towering T-Rex, soaring Pterodactyls, and a massive erupting volcano.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the venues child-friendly, or are they just for adults?

It completely depends on the venue and the time of day. Family-focused spots like Dino Falls Adventure Golf (Trafford Park) and Paradise Island (inside the Trafford Centre) welcome all ages all day long.

What happens if it rains? Do I need to book an indoor course?

Luckily, almost all of the city’s top crazy golf venues are completely indoors and weatherproof. Treetop Adventure Golf in the Printworks, Paradise Island, and Junkyard Golf are entirely sheltered.

Do I need to book in advance, or can we just turn up and play?

Booking in advance is highly recommended, especially for peak times. Fridays, Saturdays, and rainy school holiday afternoons sell out fast across the city.
