Returning for its third year, Live From Jodrell Bank is back for another summer of unique live events in one of the UK's most striking festival settings. Performing in the shadow of the iconic Lovell Telescope at Jodrell Bank across July and August are New Order, Sigur Ros, The Australian Pink Floyd, Johnny Marr, The Halle Orcehstra, Daughter, Hawkwind and more.
On July 7th, iconic Manchester band New Order will headline Transmission 005 at Jodrell Bank, joined by a hand picked selection of friends including Johnny Marr, Public Service Broadcasting, The Whip, Jake Evans and Hot Vestry. BUY TICKETS.
New Order’s Stephen Morris said today “Playing at Jodrell Bank is going to be really exciting. I grew up not far from there, and I remember riding my bike over to it all the time when I was a little lad. I saw Flaming Lips play there and they was brilliant. Really special. We’re going to try to do something special too, but we’re not telling you what! I do plan to take my life-size Dalek and Cyberman up there for the weekend at the very least."
