Lock 91

Head over to Lock 91 for a great Castlefield bar; perfect for any occasion or weather. When the sun's shining, step out on to their gorgeous outdoor terrace with views over Rochdale and the Pennine canal. When the weather's not too great; stay warm inside in their plethora of rooms; all of which are available for private hire from the Attic and Study, Lounge and Terrace or the Parlour room perfect for an evening with a few friends.

Dukes 92

From its humble beginnings as a stable block for horses, Dukes 92 was transformed into Manchester's original bar and grill. These days this top Castlefield bar boasts private events spaces, a grill restaurant, canalside terrace and balcony looking over the canal. 

The Banyan Tree

The Wharf

Another venue situated by the waters edge, The Wharf is a bar cum restaurant that provides a nice balance between warm ambience and great service. Although based in a large building there are more than enough alcoves, nooks and crannies to make yourself comfy in throughout the course of your stay. The Wharf also supplies six cask ales, a solid wine list and over a hundred malts, making it one of Manchester's best Castlefield bars.
