You’ll travel down dark cobblestone alleyways and through 18th century back-streets as you see churches and pubs that both Jack the Ripper and his victims frequented.
On the way you’ll learn all about the victims’ stories, the investigation process, as well as the deprivation and social turbulence that allowed the Ripper to attack with abandon and escape justice. You’ll visit the crime scenes, where you’ll hear about the murders themselves and even see original crime scene and mortuary photographs. This isn’t a walk for the squeamish or the easily spooked - but if you want an insight into who the Ripper might have been, this is your chance.
This tour is not for the faint hearted, as you delve into gory details and discover how ‘The Ripper’ got his name. Starting at Aldgate tube station, you’ll take in the old slums and new financial district, and see the 300 year old original pub known to have been frequented by the poor victims of The Ripper – and most likely by the man himself…whoever he may have been. Perhaps you’ll be the ones to finally solve the mystery of his identity after gathering all the fascinating evidence on this fascinating and spine chilling tour.
