Spend a relaxed evening getting to know some of the UK’s finest artisan cheeses over a delicious three-course dinner, followed by a very special guided tasting. Hosted by our Executive Head Chef, Joe Fox, together with the much loved and respected ‘master of cheese’ Eric Charriaux (also known as Raymond Blanc’s cheese man), the evening will celebrate the very best of the British Isles. From a creamy St. Jude made in the market town of Bungay, to a Special Edition Lincolnshire Poacher, aged to perfection for 24 months in barrels, we’ve handpicked six exceptional cheeses from six excellent producers. Each cheese will come with an equally British drinks pairing, including Sussex sparkling wine, local dry cider and a unique whisky aged in port casks. Perfect for cheese-lovers and connoisseurs alike, Eric will guide guests through the evening's offering, sharing his expert knowledge and passion for artisan cheese-making, discussing how different techniques to terroirs can shape the taste and character of the finished product.

Tickets include:
A glass of Rathfinny Classic Cuvée and canapés.
A three-course menu served with a glass of Horsmonden Dry White.
Cheese tasting and drink pairing.

Menu:
Brightwell and caramelised onion tart, pickled beetroot, herb salad.

Single Gloucester from Charles Martell which is light and milky and paired with pale ale.
St. Jude from Bungay, Suffolk. A creamy, soft cow’s milk cheese paired with Ancre Hill orange wine.

Double Barrel is an aged 24 month Special Edition from Lincolnshire Poacher, paired with local dry cider.
