What they say:
Robatayaki - often shortened to just robata, refers to a method of cooking in which items of food on skewers are slow-grilled over hot charcoal.
Headed West this May, Sushi and Robata open to an expectant Kensington crowd as their yakitori selection and craft beer curation finds a place in the heart of none other than the Whole Foods Market at the Barkers Building.
What we say:
While Whole Foods may often be a heaving, healthy splurge, and have once set me back a roaring £50 for a mere afternoon picnic, they're now coming up trumps on the restaurant front as Sushi and Robata by Genji make their way inside. Set to boast minimalist Asian fare that teases between yakitori and robatayaki, Sushi and Robata is sure to be a unique find in amongst the high-street hoards.
