St Katherine Dock is scaling up, with the brand new addition of a neighbourhood seafood restaurant. Founded by Theodore Kyriakou and Wade Mundford, The Melusine is all about sustainably-sourced food from the British Isles, serving small plates as well as grilled, poached and fried whole fish in a communal setting.

To emphasise the ethos of mindful fishing, the restaurant's menu will change daily to accommodate the catch. Starters include oysters, crab and monkfish from the raw bar. Additionally, the main menu of sharing plates features langoustines with jalapeno aioli, scallops with fava and charred spring onions, and cold smoked venison with prawns, courgette carpaccio, cep oil. There’s also seasonal sides and desserts of apricot custard rolls or chocolate and discarded vermouth sorbet with baklava crunch to round off.
