A luxurious new restaurant barge has moored on the Grand Union Canal in Paddington Central. Named The Grand Duchess, this unique lunch and dinner location offers fresh British dishes in a sanctuary tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
With a rather fitting focus on seafood, the menu at The Grand Duchess utilises seasonal and sustainably-sourced ingredients from London Shell Co to create luxurious dishes such as fresh oysters, halibut and trout. The same level of meticulous detail goes into sourcing the drinks to accompany, as the restaurant will offer an ever-changing rotation of handpicked bottles and hidden treasures from trusted producers.
While it may be a sister to The Prince Regent, The Grand Duchess will offer a differing experience, including a marvellous captain's table available to parties of 6 -13 passengers. This will be a one-of-a-kind banquet at the bow of the ship, perfect for aspiring sailors celebrating a special occasion.
