New Bar Spy - Mo Diner

Momo Opens New '30s-Style Casual Diner With Cactus Conservatory

Mo Diner

Opens

Venue Closed

This summer, swish Mayfair haunt Momo will open a fresh, funkier and more playful sister site named Mo Diner. Located next door, the space will contrast to the original haunt, showcasing vibrant arty interiors and blending them with the restaurant and bar's international aesthetic.

In the 1930s-inspired American diner, guests will be able to chomp away on all-day breakfast and brunch with a little Mediterranean twist. Mo Diner will serve Moroccan khlea with beef, eggs and green chermoula, Berber pancakes topped with fig marmalade and almonds, and eggs Florentine with spinach, mulukhiyah and aleppo hollandaise. These can all be washed down with smoothies, milkshakes and hard shakes if you need an extra little kick to wake you up.

Additionally, the restaurant will offer an all-day menu of sharing and small plates. These include the rather groovy lobster rock ‘n’ roll, Loulou’s chicken wings, grilled octopus drizzled with saffron aioli and spiced cauliflower with pomegranate and almonds for the veggies.

All of this will be enjoyed in comfy vintage booths, with bright yellow Moroccan tiles lining the space, plus a glowing palm tree light box, over 50 photographs dotted throughout the space from Hugo Scott and jewellery from Tatty Devine. If that's not enough, the staff have customised Sonia Tahouid t-shirts that are also for sale, a staircase designed by Yue Wu and cacti conservatory, just to really add extra wow-factor to the dining experience.
