Located opposite Kensington Palace and a short distance from the Royal Albert Hall, Afternoon Tea at The Milestone Hotel offers traditional charm, opulent furnishings and hospitality from a passionate and experienced team. 

The menu boasts a delicious array of finger sandwiches, warm freshly baked scones served with Devonshire clotted cream and home-made preserves, and a selection of pastries including éclairs, tartlets, cupcakes and macaroons.  Enhance your experience with by accompanying your tea with a glass of Champagne. There are a number of experiences available with full details available on their menu. 

The Milestone Hotel and Residences also welcomes group enquiries for Afternoon Tea Parties. Whether you are celebrating a birthday, baby shower, anniversary or hen party they have beautiful spaces to accommodate and wow your guests. 

 

The Milestone Hotel and Residences is excited to offer guests a unique Afternoon Tea experience by offering a PMD Tea Academy

The Milestone Hotel has proudly been serving Single Estate Teas from our ethical supplier, PMD Tea for a number of years. 

The Milestone are offering guests the chance to enhance their knowledge of tea while enjoying this finest tradition. The Tea Academy experience is hosted by Dananjaya Silva, Managing Director of PMD Tea. Guests can enjoy a cup of all-time favourites such as Earl Grey or Lapsang Souchong  whilst being invited to experience with those a little more exotic such as Lover’s Leap.  Our Tea Tutorial perfectly marries the perfect cup of tea with our award-winning Afternoon Tea pastries. 

  • The PMD Tea Academy is available on specific dates only. Bookings are now open for 2020: 4th April / 6th June / 1st August / 31st October and 5th December 2020.
  • Experience detail: Guests receive full Afternoon Tea, hosted by Dananjay Silva (PMD Tea), with a selection of teas and an insight into our incredible range of single-estate Sri Lankan teas.
  • Price – £70 per person (excluding service charge)
  • Guests must book in advance as the experience is subject to availability.

For those special occasions, elegant private dinners, business lunches, working breakfasts or leisurely afternoon teas, the circular Oratory, with its ornate vaulted ceiling and wood panelling is ideal. Located next to the main restaurant, (and once the private chapel of the original house in the 1600s), the Oratory provides an enchanting space for up to eight guests.
