What they say:

Opened in the City in October, Little Smoke is the latest venture from the Noble Inns group. The restaurant serves an ever-changing menu which focuses on meat butchered on-site at their sister restaurant, Smokehouse, in Islington. Meat is sourced from independent farmers who specialise in rare breeds and wine comes from family growers, giving the restaurant a local country feel slap bang in the middle of the city.

What we say:

Meat lovers would be hard pressed to find somewhere to satisfy their cravings better than Smokehouse in Islington, a pub which butchers its meat on-site and changes the menu daily, a formula which will now be emulated at sister restaurant Little Smoke. The latest opening from Noble Inns will use meat from the Smokehouse site to create dishes such as a rare-breed beef burgers or sticky pork belly. While a spate of BBQ restaurants are opening up across the city, Little Smoke stands out due to its excellent quality of meat and traceability to the point of butcher. A reassuring fact in a world of increasingly mass-produced and mediocre meat.
