Green Lanes who? Anatolian food has found a new home in The City as Baraka gears up to open its doors this January. Bringing a taste of Turkey to Finsbury Square, the new restaurant is set to feature organic produce and locally-sourced ingredients just minutes from Liverpool Street and Moorgate stations.
Inspired by the Turkish word for socialising, living and eating, the restaurant will feature modern interiors and a spacious terrace outside. Specialising in open-flame Mangal cooking, the menu draws on ancient recipes from across the Ottoman Empire, using spices found along the Silk Route; think mezze, hand-rolled pastries, tagines and house-made baklava. Wash that all down with Turkish wines and spiced cocktails.
