What they say:

Chelsea’s Pavillion Road has just received another exciting restaurant in the form of Hans’ Bar & Grill. Coming to you from the hotel 11 Cadogan Gardens – described by themselves as ‘Chelsea’s best kept secret’ – and Head Chef Adam England (of Le Pont de la Tour fame), Hans’ aims to be an all-day, relaxed restaurant, while maintaining the standards of the area around them. This is why they’re focusing on a traditional-meets-contemporary design throughout the 106-cover restaurant, 20-cover bar, and 16-cover private dining room, while serving up seasonal British food.

What we say:

They’re taking their seasonal menu seriously. While the breakfast and brunch offerings serve up dishes like eggs benedict and steak tartare, along with fresh-pressed juices, the lunch and dinner a la carte will create dishes based on what ingredients are available at the time. That means tasty plates like confit salmon with goat’s and cucumber. Their 195-strong wine list hails from all over the world, while the cocktails use British spirits to deliver twists on classics. And since they are taking their name from Hans Sloane – the man credited with bringing cocoa to the UK – you can expect chocolate all over the drinks and dessert menu.
