With 4 screens across 2 rooms and the option or private hire for those bigger parties, Brewers Inn has taken it's famed atmosphere and upped the game (geddit?!) for 6 nations.
Even the menu has a special 6 nations twist, offering 6 different burger toppings- one for each country. The English burger rocks red Leicester, whilst the french is a smooth as you'd expect with melted brie. Championing Scotland is the Isle of Mull and Ireland represents with a washed rind cheese called Gubbeans. Italy brings mozzarella to the table, and the Welsh offers a hot cheesy Welsh Rarebit mix.
Tables book up quickly so get your reservation in advance to secure the best seats and pre-order your half time burger, but fear not if they're already booked up, the expansion into two bar areas has doubled their capacity for prime viewing and one half of the pub is always a first come first served table policy.
Our advice? Get down early, get in the bar snacks and definitely try the Welsh burger.
