Nine Ace Deck are a 10 piece Funk-Rock group from Southampton, made up of a tight rhythm section, powerful brass, and charismatic vocalist. Writing their own original material, they produce a punchy and energetic sound in a variety of styles, from R&B to Prog-Rock.

Key songwriters include: frontman Harley Mitford, whose influences from both classical and popular music culminate in a captivating progressive sound; guitarist Aaron Lewns, whose foundations in Rock and unique part-writing create a sound which is at once both robust and melancholic; and baritone saxophonist Robert Eastgate, whose strong R&B and Hip-Hop influences are ever-present in his groovy tracks.

Founded in October 2014, Nine Ace Deck are an up and coming band on the Southampton music scene: 2015 saw them play at ‘Share The Sound’ festival in March, support 'Land of the Giants' at the Talking Heads in June and headline 'Breastival' in September. They kicked off 2016 with a midnight slot at The Hobbit on New Year’s Eve; expect great things to come!
