Pillars Brewery.
Join us on Thursday 13th November for a night of celebrating the beautiful marriage that is beer & cheese. Showcasing a selection of the best of Pillars, Peter will be bringing along a curated selection of cheeses from Wimbledon Cheese Cave that pair perfectly with their award winning local lagers.
Pillars are known for being the best and only Lager-centric brewery in London (Arguable the best in the country) and their attention to detail and passion are second to none. Enjoy a selection of 4 beers and 4 cheeses, a pairing masterclass from expert Cicerone Peter Kennelly, and a FREE pint of Pillars after the event.
The Beers
Pils - The OG Pillars, and an eternal crowd-pleaser. This Pilsner is crisp, clean and refreshing, with a beautifully balanced body and hints of Pine and Citrus. Despite being exclusively brewed in London, this gluten free Pilsner has won awards across Europe for its true to style taste and its incredible sessionability.
Festbier - No lager brewery is complete without a tradtional Oktoberfest style 'Festbier' . This Bohemian style beer is a clasic example of a malty, yet fragrant, Festbier brewed using spicy Herkules, floral Tetanger and herbal Mittelfruh hops. Overflowing with honey and bread flavours which finish with well-balanced bitterness.
Cold Porter - Is it a Lager? Is it a Porter? Only you can decide. A brand new lager style, created in London for an exclusive number of independent pubs. This porter is brewed with lager yeast, then cold-fermented and cold-lagered. Your new winter session beer. A porter for lager lovers. Brewed with a blend of malts for a spectrum of coffee, toast and chocolate notes. This dark, medium-bodied beer is built upon a biscuit base with caramel character. English hops deliver a classic spicy character with a touch of fruitiness.
Icebock - The UK’s first Eisbock. An exceptional style off beer lost to the ages, this yearly release is a nine-month labour of love. A rich, silky lager with a caramelised, toast-like character. Brewed at Pillars Brewery using freeze-concentration for an intense, full-bodied flavour.

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your space will be given to any waiting customers, and no refund or exchange will be applicable.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.

11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
