Description
The Bricklayer's Arms in Putney is a traditional London pub situated close to the river just a short walk from Putney Bridge. Quirkiness may be your first thought upon entry but this South-West London boozer offers a relaxing and authentic alternative to the many chain bars that surround it.
Since it opened in 2005 The Bricklayer's Arms has won numerous awards for its service as well as the beer while being a regular feature in most Top 25 Pub lists for London. Visitors to this old Victorian building have grown accustomed to the laid back atmosphere, very friendly bar staff and most importantly of all, the beer.
Throughout the year this traditional London pub, with its working fireplace and large garden, hosts regular beer festivals where you'll find as many as thirty different ales to choose from, as well as the twelve that The Bricklayer's Arms keeps on tap. Serving up a fantastic value for money Sunday roast too has seen The Bricklayer's Arms become a part of the lifeblood in these parts, so why not try it out for yourself?
