Description
DAVID MORGAN
If you like your comedy with a side helping of warm, playful gossip, then it's time to meet your new favourite stand-up: David Morgan. A self-confessed telly addict, David has done all the trawling through trashy TV channels so that you don't have to and is always delight to tell audiences about his findings. A skilled storyteller, delightful worker of crowds and often hilarious indiscreet peddler of naughty laughs, it's not difficult to see why he's so often appeared on the small screen over the past few years.
Best known as team captain on two series of ITV2’s Safeword, and resident comedian on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now. He has also been a regular guest presenter on Virgin Radio and contributor to ITV1’s Weekend, as well as appearing on shows including The Xtra Factor, Radio 4 Extra Stands Up and Virtually Famous.
"A joy to behold." Metro
"David Morgan is Funny, That's Right. Capital F." Attitude
"Immensely likeable stage presence, a smart neat turn of phrase." The Scotsman
PETER BRUSH
A highly distinctive performer and deft writer of finely crafted jokes, Peter Brush unassumingly takes the stage with his slight bespectacled frame and scruffy hair, before consummately conquering it with an arsenal of razor sharp quirky one-liners and peerlessly original routines, all delivered in an amusingly awkward fashion.
Peter has been a finalist in a variety of local and national comedy competitions including the BBC New Comedy Award 2013, as well as winning the Harrogate Comedian of the Year 2012. He has also written for BBC Radio 4’s ‘The News Quiz’, ‘The Show What You Wrote’ and ‘Newsjack’, and supported Arthur Smith during his 2013 tour.
“An imaginative use of language and obtuse angles of thought that produce distinctive and eclectic gags…his best lines are inspired.” Chortle
“Clever and original.” Bruce Dessau, Beyond The Joke
BISHA K ALI
Hailing from West London and ping-ponging between cultures has left Bisha with no choice but to stand up and laugh. A natural storyteller, Bisha touches on topics including race, religion, science and family. Always engaging and smart as a whip, Bisha’s already turning heads with her fresh comedic perspective.
Her laid-back charm, along with her ability to surprise and delight audiences took her to the Final of the 2013 Funny Women Awards within a year of her first gig. Bisha is a "badass comedian” (MTV NEWS) who has fast developed a reputation for "tender, and self effacing” (Edinburgh Festivals Magazine) comedy with bite, covering topics from race to family, feminism and gaming.
As featured in Buzzfeed, The Metro, The Independent, Stylist Magazine, Elite Daily, The Brunch Club, Standard Issue Magazine, The Daily Edge, Vagabomb, Yahoo News, Interrobang, Daily Life Australia and The Irish Examiner. All without committing a crime.
