How many stories can
one pub hold? For generations, The Bull’s Head has been part
of life in Barnes — a place for celebrations, friendships,
music, rowing, Sunday lunches, quiet pints and countless memories.
This Young’s Day, we want to celebrate those stories. We’re
bringing together a collection of wonderful old photographs of the
Bull’s Head to create a special exhibition, and we’ll be joined by
the Barnes & Mortlake History Society, who will take us back
through the fascinating history of Barnes, the riverside and the
community that has grown around our pub. Come and spend the
afternoon with us, enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and canapés,
wander through photographs of the Bull’s Head from years gone by,
and hear some of the stories that have shaped the place we know
today.
Most importantly,
this isn't simply about looking back. It’s about bringing our
community together, discovering the stories hidden within a place
many of us walk past or visit every day, and helping preserve them
for the next generation. And most importantly, while we celebrate
our past together, we’ll also be helping to create brighter
futures, with proceeds from the afternoon going towards The Clink
Charity.
Whether you’ve lived
in Barnes all your life, have memories of the Bull’s Head from
years ago, or simply want to discover the extraordinary history on

It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
