Afternoon Tea affair w/ the best in Disco, what more could you ask for?
Disco Freaks have built up a reputation as one of the most exciting soul and
funk vinyl DJs around, spinning grooves all over the UK, Europe and New York.
Over the last 7 years, the energetic duo from Blackburn and Margate have
shared a residency with the legendary John Morales, supported Roy Ayers and
brought the boogie to such destinations as Glastonbury, Bestival, Italy, Ibiza
and Croatia.
The boys also have a weekly show on Hoxton Radio and New York's The Face
Radio every Wednesday 7-9pm plus a monthly show on Totally Wired Radio, the
new station by Acid Jazz Records & Fred Perry.
They also also make some sounds of their own. Disco Freaks debut release with
Acid Jazz in 2018 was an edit of Leroy Hutsonʼs classic Lucky Fellow, coming to
life on 7 inch vinyl for the very first time. Their rework of This City, sung by rising star
Laville, also appeared on the iconic label's special 500th release, AJX 500, in 2019.
