The last time F.Cooke's Pie and Mash shop's jellied eels made contact with oysters was in the sea off the coast of Essex but then again the last time Pie and Mash was served in the same vicinity as cocktails was... well never as far as we know. But prepare to be amazed for the next few weeks as the Behind This Wall pop up bar takes residence at this famous East End pie and mash outlet.
Running every weekend (Friday & Saturdays) until August 17th, Behind This Wall offers you the chance to enjoy great oysters, great drinks and importantly great music! From 6pm until midnight you'll be served your choice of foreign beers or cheeky cocktails. The cocktails themselves have been crafted by Behind This Wall Bar's very own mixologists; but you can still find a couple of classics on there concocted with a modern twist, all designed to give you a cocktail experience you won't soon forget.
For the final weekend on August 16th & 17th, the same time as Behind This Wall's first birthday, you can enjoy a few extra special treats! With an extended oyster happy hour (6.30-8.30pm) you can get even more oysters for just £1. If you're still hungry, Hanoi Kitchen will be serving up Vietnamese street food on both nights as well. The last weekend is set to be the biggest yet with special guest DJs and an 'Open Deck' sound system policy. Don't miss the last time to enjoy this pop up this summer!
