The Land of Milk and Honey room - After a long hiatus The Land of Milk and Honey is has returned. A night of eclectic music, where the emphasis is on quality not genre. Spanning disco, house, hip hop, soul, electro, acid, dub, psyche, boogie and rock ‘n’ roll the Milk and Honey DJ’s are always digging to find those undiscovered gems and party classics to keep you on the dancefloor. Started 10 years ago by Leon Mayes (The Off Key Hat), Dave Maclean (Django Django) and Greg Phizacklea (Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club), when they found a shared of love of a very specific sound of everything! Now with 10 years more vinyl in their boxes they are rejoining their record collections for your listening and dancing pleasure joined by man about town Dave Rose (Persuasion) and Neil Thornton (Discovery) so leave your expectations at the door.

Club Hiatus room- Let’s take a trip, a club hiatus in fact, to a wonderland of emotions and Balearic embodiment where tempos aren’t judged and genres undefined. This month we invite:
Private Agenda (International Feel) The Balearic disco-pop aficionados and live act Private Agenda first appeared on our radar after their insatiable release Freefalling / Déjà vu. The international feel affiliated crew continued to deliver a diverse and emotional slew of releases including (personal fav) paralysed, and Little Bird over the last few years. With their smooth and accessible dancefloor flavour we had to invite them in for a DJ set at the Hiatus

Jack Priest (Crew Love)-The newest Crew Love member and club hiatus host Jack Priest joins the all-star crew, again for this month’s throw down. Jack’s most recent releases include Rock My Body Edits available on Wolf + Lamb Black along with new pop focused radio show ‘The Caramel Show’ coming to Balamii Radio this month.

South Beach Recycling (Midnight Riot)-Our good friends South Beach Recycling the first rate crew at cutting and stitching disco into extended dancefloor versions. The crew have seen several vinyl releases on esteemed label Midnight Riot.

Hun Grrr (W+L Black)-Hun Grrr another Club Hiatus regular can warm a room like no other. Hun Grrr also featured on the most recent wolf + Lamb Black release alongside Priest.

This venue serves Mexican food.

A word from the chef:
Gourmet Gorditas-Gourmet Gorditas was started by Santiago and Pedro, two authentic and unique Mexicans who wanted to bring something authentic and unique from their homeland to London. Gorditas are hand-made flatbreads stuffed with different kind of fillings, a type of street food that's incredibly popular in the north of Mexico (where Santiago was born and raised), but has yet to be discovered by most Londoners. Gourmet Gorditas are the very first (and so far the only) place making gorditas in London, and after only a few months trading in Brick Lane, award-winning food blogger Chris Osburn named them one of the best street food places in Shoreditch: Santiago and Pedro have created recipes that take inspiration from authentic Mexican dishes, but have given them a 'foodie' spin by using the best locally-sourced gourmet ingredients. They're life partners as well as business partners, so their company is a family affair, a life-long dream of Santiago's which together they've made a reality. If you've not heard of Burger bear by now.... Where have you been? Launched in 2012 on the street, Burger Bear can be found serving up one of London's best burgers to a sound track of disco beats all across London. Burger Bear Tom, brainchild, behind the Bear created bacon jam and makes some of the best Mac & Cheese balls you'll ever eat. Moving from street food to venues, he now has a spot in Peckham, The Magic Roundabout on the top of Old Street Station and Stokey Bears, in, you've guessed it Stoke Newington. This winter, he is holding up the reins at The Horse and Groom pub where you'll find him cooking up creative interpretations of classic American dishes with Great British ingredients. Inspired dishes to keep you felling warm inside this Christmas. There'll also be some XXXmas classics on the menu too!
