Saturday service returns bigger and better after the refurb at The Horse and Groom.
Originally coming from northern England, Callum is nowadays one of the main DJs of the London Mod-scene. But as he confesses frankly, in the beginning it was first of all the sharp-distinguised style of the Mods that attracted him, the passion for the music came later on. Callum became a regular at clubs like Brighton Beach, No More Doggin or Mousetrap, and consequently it didn‘t take long until he got totally hooked by Rhythm`n`Blues, Soul, Latin, Boogaloo etc.
Due to his distinctive ability to mix different 60s genres with aplomb Callum got over the years invitations to famous places like The Boiler ESP, Dance with the Devil ITA, Lavarone Weekender ITA, 100 Club UK, Oslo Mod Weekender NOR, Euro Ye Ye ESP. Back home in London, he‘s one of the resident DJs of the POW WOW CLUB, well known for its eclectic mixture of 60s style dancers, oddballs and obscurities. As Callum puts it nicely: „Every record I play and have ever played, I would dance to and genuinely believe in!“
Expect a full range of Soulful sounds with a little something for every taste.
The venue has done a huge job with new flooring more dance floor space and more speakers!
