London's Sexiest Vegan Menu?

Baluchi At the LaLiT World Vegan Month

It's not just the interiors, Baluchi at The LaLiT are making World Vegan Month looks all sorts of beautiful.

Baluchi at The LaLiT has long been doing something a little bit different. Set in a former grammar school, the beautiful restaurant combines old with new, from the royal blue vaulted main dining room through to a Pan Indian take on dishes. And now, the renowned seven-course tasting menu is getting a meat-free makeover to celebrate World Vegan Month, swapping the likes of venison and lamb rump for Tandoori celeriac with mint chutney, burnt apple gel, masala seeds, gun powder, and coconut foam, and pan-fried aubergine steak with coconut sukha, spiced tofu mince, spinach and super seeds.

The spot isn't stopping there, however, as executive chef Santosh Shah is hosting a vegan masterclass to help you create flavour-filled vegan dishes at home. Things kick off with breakfast, before a lesson on how to blend spices and whip up star dishes to create your own three-course meal, which you can eat with matching wine pairings on the day.

Baluchi at The LaLiT are celebrating World Vegan Month throughout November. The seven-course vegan tasting menu costs £55 and is available at 181 Tooley Street, SE1 2JR.
