Dishoom seems to be a place of firsts for me. From my first ever chai tea to my first restaurant bill over £100 (i'm a scrimper when it suits), and while it wont be my first evey immersive theatre experience, it will be my first one set in Bombay, and it will be my first one in a restaurant. So what exactly is a 'Night at the Bombay Roxy'?

An immersive night headed to the brand new Dishoom Kensington, this luxurious event is due to be an ode to 'Bombay’s glamorous jazz age'. Not only will we be indulging in a family style meal of Dishoom delights such as Vegetable Samosas, Bhel, Pau Bhaji and a Jackfruit Biryani alongside plush cocktails, the whole restaurant will be awash with all things Indian noir as actors and musicians (a jazz band) are due to evoke the make believe world of the Bombay Roxy, a café and jazz club owned by the charmed, but stubborn, Cyrus Irani.

Night at the Bombay Roxy at Dishoom Kensington takes place over various dates in November and December. Tickets are £72pp, these include a welcome drink, a choice of two menus and immersive theatre.
