Bottomless Vegan Brunches? There's A Meat-Free Restaurant Coming To Clapham

vegan pop up restaurant clapham

Vegan mac and cheese is just that start of it at this Clapham pop-up.

Clapham doesn't always know what to do with the meat and dairy-free. You can get a world of beef burgers on the high street, you can spoil yourself to a night of sushi and you can head to WC for one the best cheese boards in the business, but vegans/vegetarians would be hard pushed to find more than one or two items on a menu that suit their needs. And even if Clapham's restaurants do serve vegans? They're certainly not singing all that loud about it. I live in Clapham, I can vouch for this.

Does that mean that South London has plenty of reasons to be excited when a new pop-up vegan restaurant announces plans opens its doors in a Clapham railway arch? Yes, yes it does.

Dominic Taylor, once Executive Chef at The Jam Tree, is taking over the kitchen and bar at 15-16 Lendal Terrace for a mammoth menu of vegan alternatives to loved classics and 'indulgent plant-based comfort food'. But what does that get Clapham's vegan-hungry? It gets you a bottomless vegan brunch, it gets you a jackfruit chili, and it gets you jerk tofu. Cocktails are not at a loss either. Vegan mixes will feature everything from a Violet Martini with Star Of Bombay gin to a vegan negroni with vegan vermouth.

The Meet opens at 15-16 Lendal Terrace, SW4 7UX, in November for vegan bottomless brunches, Sunday roasts and more.
