This East London Bar Has A Weekly Absinthe Happy Hour

The Last Tuesday Society Absinthe Happy Hour | DesignMyNight

It's time to find out if the green fairy really does exist.

Thought you were skilled in the art of juggling your responsibilities? Well, you ain't seen nothing yet. Home to the Museum of Curiosities, a cocktail bar, absinthe parlour and taxidermy academy, The Last Tuesday Society is quite the all-rounder.

Founded by William James at Harvard and run by artist Viktor Wynd, this institution is far from your average bar. And that's before we talk about the drinks department.

Alongside classics like mai tais and corpse revivers, the Mare Street hideaway is touting one hell of an absinthe list. Soak up everything from the award-winning La Maison Fontaine Blanche to Jade Espirit Edouard which comes in at a dizzying 72% ABV. Better yet, from Tuesdays to Fridays between 6pm and 7pm, you can take advantage of London's only absinthe happy hour with free nibbles (cheeseboards, olives etc) alongside each drink.

Trippy.

Get your absinthe fill at The Last Tuesday Society on 11 Mare Street, Hackney, E8 4RP.
