12 glass dining pods have made their way to the Thames.

Fancy experiencing the Tower of London without all the gore? Whether you're visiting town for the weekend, or a Londoner born and bred, The Glass Rooms should be on your agenda. Popping up at the historic landmark until September, these 12 luxury dining pods are promising sustainable eats, floral displays and a gorgeous location.

Expect views of icons such as Tower Bridge and The Shard as you're seated in your own private space. With space for 8 hungry guests, each dome offers a menu inspired by British growers; from Dover sole with a Champagne butter sauce and South coast crab to barbecued rum pineapple for afters. As for drinks; think classic cocktails, a wide range of wines and plenty of Laurent-Perrier. Menus are priced at £60 for two courses and £75 for three.

The Glass Rooms will be open from Wednesday to Sunday between the 1st June and the 18th September 2022 at the Tower of London, The East Gate, EC3N 4AB. If you like this, check out our guide to London's best pop-up restaurants and sign up for our London newsletter.
