Pizza Pilgrims will be bringing a mincemeat filled Calzone to their Swingers locations this Christmas.

For some people it's the presents, for some it's the decorations, some just love the opportunity to spend quality time with their nearest and dearest, and for some people, Christmas time is all about the novelty food mash-ups. In the past we've seen turkey gin, Yorkshire pudding burritos and deep fried Christmas pud, and this year Pizza Pilgrims are throwing their hat into the weird festive food special ring with a Mince Pie Calzone.

Available at their Swingers outlets, the pizza will be a sweet and savoury treat of the restaurant's delicious dough stuffed with sweet mincemeat and served with a Limoncello mascarpone. If you're in the market for something a little more pedestrian though, they'll also be bringing out an 'It's A Wonderful Slice' pizza topped with Mortadella ham, pistachio cream, buffalo mozzarella and crumbled pistachio. 

Pizza Pilgrims aren't the only ones bringing you the Yuletide goods. A number of other Swingers food vendors are getting in the festive spirit, including Crosstown Doughnuts, Patty & Bun and Breddos. Swingers itself will be offering an exclusive cocktail, 'Santa's Blotto', featuring rum, apple juice, spiced and vanilla sugars and fresh lime.
