flat iron square opening in london

From new bars to a music venue from Mumford & Sons' Ben Lovett, Flat Iron Square plans to soar into the hospitality scene.

London's spaces are ever changing, you need only look at Shoreditch and Brixton to see the impact of new funding, business interest and social absorption to prove it, but what about the city's up and coming plots? Depftord Market Yard is picking up leverage, and Peckham has seen an argumental rise in property prices and newbie openings, but where else? The space between Union Street, O'Meara Street and Southward Street, we've heard.

Hailed as Flat Iron Square and seeing mega growth in the food and drinks department, this 40,000 sq ft space will have no shortage of names to its claim once it's due to open in October. Not only will Mumford & Sons' Ben Lovett be opening live music space OMEARA, new foodie names come in the shape of Portugese tapas restaurant Bar Duoro, Where The Pancakes Are will be offering out sweet wares in their permanent space, Trapeze comes at their plot with an all-out Californian inspired brunch and three food trucks will have the chance to serve up their delights.

Flat Iron Square can be found between Union Street, O'Meara Street and Southward Street. The space is due to fully open in October 2016.
