CircusXO serves fish egg and hoison sauce cocktails in Mayfair

CircusXO

Controversial restaurant StreetXO is giving its inventive cocktails their very own bar with CircusXO.

With waiters in straight jackets and a 'strip club' aesthetic, StreetXO has set tongues wagging since it opened in London's Mayfair. The restaurant's buzz shows no sign of stopping, as they open a dedicated space to their inventive cocktails. CircusXO is opening with a focus on 'liquid cuisine' which includes unusual mixes and high-end spirits. The new cocktail list includes items such as The mythic Tom Kha Kai (coconut, chilli, lime and flying fish eggs), Drinking Pekin Duck (Hoisin syrup, cucumber, mezcal and duck condiment) and Yellow Curry (saffron, ginger, lemongrass and basil). If you want something simpler, there's also a list of classic cocktails, all made using world-renowned spirits such as Suntori Hibiki 17 whisky, which retails at £200 a bottle; or the Spicy and Smoky Margarita which includes worm salt.

CircusXO will open in StreetXO, 15 Old Burlington Street, London, W1S 2JR.
