Carnaby Street Christmas Lights

Carnaby Street is a celebrated shopping destination, wedged between Oxford Street and Regent Street, with both independent and chain retailers promising the best in deals, and local restaurants putting on dinner, but you've come here to hear about this year's Christmas lights.
Going all out with a theme each year (with previous themes including 'electric' and 'rainbow'), visitors to the Carnaby Street lights can expect a dazzling display, switched on this 6th November.

Last year's light theme was Carnaby Universe.
Neverland at Kenwood House

If you're looking for a London Christmas lights tour, then check out Kenwood House's trail in Hampstead, which will be taking place from December to January. After making its big debut a few years ago, this stunning Grade I listed hotspot will be transformed yet again into an immersive winter wonderland, this time focusing on the boy who never wants to grow up: Peter Pan.
This year you'll follow Tinkerbell through the inside of Big Ben and the Lost Boys' secret tree trunk all the way to Captain Hook's pirate ship, making it one of the most magical activities to do in north London.

Leadenhall Market's display brings Victorian charm to the heart of the city. Last year, the Lord Mayor led the switch-on event, revealing an 18ft Christmas tree with glittering baubles. We're expecting this year to be just as epic.

Old Spitalfields Market Christmas Lights

Watch in awe as the East London shopping and dining destination transforms into a twinkly wonderland this November. Old Spitalfields Market will be adorned with Christmas trees and decorations galore, with the official switch on happening on 12th November 2025.
The festivities for the light switch on begin at 3pm, where you can enjoy all the Christmas tunes from Hoxton Radio. There will also be a gospel choir performance, festive workshops, roaming elves and live portraits drawn by Ella De Souza. Be sure to have your mulled wine and mince pie at the ready for the switch on at 6pm.

The Shard Christmas Lights

London's tallest landmark, The Shard, is known for its dazzling Christmas light show that's displayed hourly from dusk every night. The theme is yet to be announced, but we know The Shard throws everything at their light displays - so prepare for a good show.
Venture over to London Bridge when the initial date is announced, and catch the spectacular display for the very first time. The display will be visible from over 40 miles away, so you'll be able to catch it from different points across the capital. And if you're a tad peckish or fancy a tipple, head to Aqua Shard Bar for some of the best views in town.

Get ready to kick off the festive season, as Fleet Street Quarter is flipping the switch on its Christmas lights on Wednesday the 19th of November at Ludgate Circus.
