Join us for food & wine pairing in the beautiful surroundings of Levant Restaurant & Lounge in the heart of the West End. Three hours of tasting Lebanese dishes paired with award winning Lebanese wines.
Our founder Tony Kitous (author of the Feasts from the Middle East) will be there to introduce you to the Lebanese flavours. Tony is bringing food he knows to many people who don’t know it or understand it. There was a gap in the market when he started in the early 90s and now he is still rapidly expanding his passion for sharing the Lebanese experience around the globe. He opened Levant in 1993, and it is still where he spends practically every day, unless he's abroad. In 2008 Tony also opened the first Comptoir Libanais which has become a successful chain around the country and abroad.
We are also excited that Michael Karam from Chateau Ksara will fly all the way from Lebanon, to talk about Lebanese wines. From its founding in 1857, Château Ksara Estate lives and grows through the core values of Tradition, Nobility, and Modernity. And as the country’s oldest winery, they have made it their mission to not only continue their unique, centuries-old practice of winemaking, but to also implement the newest and most innovative processes, and continue leading the winemaking in Lebanon for generations to come.
A very relaxed evening, filled with good food and wine, perfect for those who already know Lebanese flavours, as well as those who would like to find out more.
