Levant is definitely of the old-school restaurant breed: floating candles, rose petals strewn everywhere, lascivious red uplighting and a troop of belly dancers with ‘bosoms larger than your head’. This central London spot was the first venture by Tony Kitous, the restaurant mogul who set up theComptoir…
Levant Restaurant & Lounge
Conveniently located between the hustle and bustle of St Christopher's Place and Marylebone High Street is Levant, a Lebanese/Middle Eastern restaurant and bar that combines its tasty cuisine with an exuberant entertainment package. Decked out in deep reds and golds, guests perch themselves on cushioned sofas whilst they dine in a comfortable candle-lit atmosphere. The menu is stocked full of Lebanese and Middle Eastern inspired dishes, brought to the table in a continuous flow in order to achieve an authentic Middle Eastern experience. Guests are also able to select from wine and cocktail lists with great strength in depth.
By day this West London retreat is a relaxing and comfortable restaurant, but this makes way for something a little more vibrant and energetic once the sun goes down. Belly dancers are out in force every day at 8:15pm, twice nightly on Fridays and Saturdays (8.15pm and 11.15pm), as well as 8.30pm on Sundays. There is also DJ and dancing every Friday and Saturday. Ideally suited to those who enjoy Lebanese-inspired cuisine, the Levant pulls out all the stops to ensure guests enjoy an authentic all round experience.
